General Cake Portions
The cake portion chart below is a rough guide to the number of portions (decent size) you can get from a sponge celebration cakes, such as Birthday cakes. The guide allows for slices larger than your standard dessert or finger portions cut for wedding cakes. Our cakes are approximately 4″ deep.

Wedding Portion Guide
Wedding cake servings come in two sizes. First is a dessert portion which is approximately the width of 2-3 fingers or 2″ x 1″ pieces. This size is generous enough for dessert and highly recommended if you wish to serve your wedding cake as your dessert. A Top Tip that will save you some pennies! Depending on the flavor of cakes you have chosen you can accompany it with ice cream, cream, berries or a fruit. The second option, it the more traditional route where you offer your guest a finger slice portion 1″ x 1″ taster with coffee or to take home. Of course, you will get more portions from the second option, either way, be sure to notify your venue or whoever is cutting the cake which option you have chosen. If you have chosen fruit cake for your wedding cake, this is normally always served as a finger portion.

Wedding Cake Price Guide
Below is a guideline of prices. Each individual cake standing 6″-6.5″ deep, made up of multiple layers of cake filled with flavoured buttercream, covered with chocolate ganache and finished with a couture fondant. Please note this is just a starting guide to prices, depending on the design some cakes come in cheaper. Cakes cascading with handmade sugar flowers, frills, drapery, may increase in price. The prices cover all our flavours aside from fruit cakes flavours. Please contact us for a quote for fruit cakes or cakes incorporating fruit cakes.
